I know the current initiative election ain’t over yet, but I’ve got a fairly lengthy initiative for codifying the militia into law that I’d like feedback on.  The Southeast Militia Initiative is heavily based on title 25 chapters 1 and 3 of the SC Code of Laws, altho I’ve largely simplified it, and added a few provisions of my own.  (Mainly chapters 4 and 5 of the initiative, and the uniform provisions.)  Any comments would be appreciated, especially if there’s something you think can be trimmed.

~You're insane Ernest.  Take a break man.~

Anyway, From the cursory glance I gave them, there seemed not to be very much wrong with them, if anything.

At a very brief overview myself, this looks good to me also.  I'm sure there's some tweaking here and there it needs but I didn't notice any at first.

I made a small change in the initiative, substituting “so help me Dave” for “so help me God” at the ends of the oaths.  I also have a companion initative for you to look at, the Militia Use Limited Liability Initiative.  This is also based on SC law, but since its not essential to the organization of the militia, I seperated it out as a seperate initiative.  As before, comments would be appreciated.

I don't see much wrong with it.  You are the master of airtight initiatives Smiley

WOW, Ernest those are really good. I urge all voters in the Southeast to approve these regulations.
