I find it interesting considering how noticeably different it is from every other news site, running with the more graphic beating photo instead of a simple picture of the ambassador.  It's also odd how it is calling it a 9/11 retaliation in the headline even though US officials are saying its not in the blurb.

I can't really say this shows any bias, as I'm not sure who it helps by angling the story this way.  I just find it odd.

Shame on any news outlet that tries to spin this story as a net positive or negative for either candidate or ideology. This is a tragedy, plain and simple.

The picture is certainly graphic. I'm a journalism major and we talk extensively about when it's appropriate to show graphic photos like this one. I'm on the fence. On one hand, showing this photo could be irresponsible, as it could incite blind rage and fear in viewers, and not showing it doesn't make the events any less important. On the other hand, in the digital age people will be able to get their hands on graphic content one way or another regardless.

Really not appropriate to post that photo on the front page either.
