Well I also never heard of it until introduced to it just now by Reaganfan.  So I'm more out of touch than he.

Sorry to crush your hate on modernity, but this is just a fluke hit from a pretty well-established genre.

Maybe in Australia, but it didn't really hit the U.S. until this summer.

Hey now, he found this pretty fast by Naso-standards. Remember he only discovered MGMT last year!

The streak of Naso liking things in culture that I don't like continues!

Many people here had heard it before then (myself included). I still remember the first time I heard it, all I could think to myself was "Peter Gabriel". No wonder Naso likes it.

In fairness, he may have heard it several months ago (it would be virtually impossible for him to have just heard it), and assumed it was from the 80s, because it really, really sounds like it's from the 80s.

I prefer the female vocals on that track. I do not like a lot of newer music (much prefer sticking with Pink Floyd and The Beatles, the legacy of my history of liberalism in youth I suppose). However, that's a good single, especially if you pay attention to the lyrics (assuming you've gone through that sort of thing at least once, even if it was a long time ago).
