It seems that the Obama campaign used the same person, Joe Soptic for its campaign as the PAC video.
There is an FEC law that says there cannot be any coordination or communication between PACs and the candidate.
But if Soptic is wearing the same clothes in both videos, then its possible that it is from the same interview. He is wearing a grey long sleeve polo shirt in both videos, but they have different backgrounds. Now, he might just have one nice grey shirt that he wears for every interview. Or the video interviews were both taped on the same day, and that would mean that the PAC is sharing video interview footage created by the Obama campaign. That would be very illegal.
It just seems fishy. Maybe the Obama campaign contracted the same production company to film the videos, as Promises USA. But I don't know why "footage filmed specifically for the Obama campaign" would then be used "by a PAC"
