Due to redistricting, two incumbent Democratic state senators are both vying for my affection. It's a solidly Democratic district, so the primary is the de facto general election. Kyle is currently my state senator.

Very tough call, but I'd stick with Kyle. He seems to emphasize education more, which is usually my first priority in a candidate.

Beverly Marrero. Looking at the websites, she seems more liberal. She also happens to have quite a nice taste in hats.

Marrero seems more to the left, but I'd still suggest writing-in Hugo Chavez.

Kyle seems the saner of the two.

I guess I'll throw my hat in the ring for Marrero.

She seems more progressive when you look at sponsored legislation. And you always need more women in political positions.

Libertarian support = huge negative.  Vote Marrero.

There's a solidly Democratic white district in TN? Interesting.
