As someone who has an almost un-matched win record in Atlasian politics I think you should run. You have very little to lose and you'd probably get my vote. Smiley

Why thank you.  I made it myself.
The banner that is, not the photo.  I tried to get a more up to date photo, but somebody kept trying to tell me they're both dead.  *pfshft*

That's very kind, but I think I'd be better off getting my feet under the table first, before I start getting any ideas above my station! Smiley

I can'tr believe these are the candidates for me old seat Smiley

I'm a lot more moderate then Nym90, but he definently has y support; and Naso is better then Phillip as well. Nym90 has experience, is one of the members of the afdnc who have very high integrity, and is active in the senate. UUnless someone closer to your views runs, I strongly suggest you support Nym90, who despite not being a moderate has proved he actually will work hard for all sides, and is very heavily focussed on getting the best result for D3.

Thanks for the comments, Hugh. While my pesonal ideology is liberal, I have always been pragmatic, and I think my voting record and legislative record has not been at all extreme.

Nym, I look forward to a spirited race.

Draft Ben for Senate! Sure he isn't that active, but Tongue

Hmmm....

Work has meant that I'm more often wirting either an essay or a press release... that said I would be happy to run with the right backing... I will have to take it with the rest of the Union Party.

Well, I have my voters, and I feel that all you would do is hurt Nym's chances. Philip won't put a dent in my votes, neither will you, but Nym is at most risk for being hurt by both you (IF YOU RUN) and Philip.

I don't really see what you'd gain from running... you'd probably be better off waiting 'till after the election when there'll be a load of positions up for grabs with whoever forms the next Administration.

I have decided not to run, much as I would like to Don and Al hit the nail on the head that i have not been active of late and would have to sacrifice to much of my "real time" to win, that i could win and put forward a good solid platform I have no doubt and to those who have offered their support I am most thankful... I will run in District 3 but not in this election.

You would have made a worthy opponent, Ben. I hope to be able to earn your vote.
