I am resigning effective whenever my replacement accepts the position.  I ask that the president nominate DanielX as my replacement.  He will be able to succeed where I fail.  I have my reasons for resigning which I will answer privately if anyone is dying to know /sarcasm.   Thank you for allowing me to serve.  I apologize for not serving as well as you deserve.
