I'll say most of the posters on there have no gipe of anything of wha the national politics scenario looks like. Especially the delusional conservatives that believe Rhode Island is going Republican in 2012.

Yeah, I read those from time to time. Some conversation can be quite interesting, but some of the sky is falling talk about California can be quite annoying.

I've visited the site occasionally. I like learning more about places I'm interested in.

FF
Here is a good gem I stumbled on recently:

Pull up a race ethnicity map and it gets a lot more hilarious.

I've mostly just looked at the relationship forum on CD, and my opinion of it is quite low.  The posters seem to me, in large measure, to be a bunch of whiny, narrow minded, judgmental assholes.  Recently, I read a story about a 102 year old man who still works (he parks cars for a living).  He has a 48 year old girlfriend.  Good for him!!!  Yet on the CD relationship forum, I've seen people complain about how, when they are on dating sites, people outside their specified "age range" contact them.  I'll take the 102 year old and his girlfriend over these people any day!   Another thread asked: "Why do people lie on dating sites?"  Well, who doesn't lie or mislead to some extent in the pursuit of sex/romance/love, whether on the Internet or in person?  Not to mention all the burning indignation one reads about getting "cheated" on, as if someone who does that is only slightly better than Charles Manson.  When you look at these people's reasoning in detail, their basic gripe is that their dates/spouses/significant others haven't lived their lives to make them (meaning those posting on the site) happy, rather they have sought to make themselves happy.  They seem not to realize that they have no right to expect otherwise.  They need to grow up!  Furthermore, I have a strong feeling that a huge percentage of those complaining are hypocrites who have done exactly the same things they're denouncing others for.
