I guess there are some voters who think Newt is as smart as Newt himself thinks he is (the creative out-of-the-box thinking transformational visionary whose crystal ball is far less opaque than most mere mortals (assuming Newt thinks he is a mere mortal, which is questionable in and of itself), which is quite remarkable actually.
