Yeah.  I did give my email to the Clark County Republican Party at the caucus back in February.  I started hearing from them just over a week ago in a half-hearted effort to remind me about the county convention.  But evidently they just went ahead and gave out my email address to the Romney campaign as well, without my permission.  One of these emails was purportedly from Ann Romney, who even thanked me for supporting her husband at February's caucus (which I obviously didn't).

Assuming I'm not alone, I wonder what the newly elected 100% Paulite executive board of the CCRP would have to say about this.

You should lodge a formal complain and have the executive board censor Mitt Romney.

I'm with Lief.

Also, to answer your question about the new CCRP board, I'm pretty sure they'll tear their shirts off and shriek like angry gibbons.

Please take video.

I was getting spammed by the Newt campaign, but not the Santorum campaign.

Do you know where that phrase originated from Sam (or at least from where I was first exposed to it)?  Yes, it is one of my favorites too. Smiley

Your email address is going to be casually passed along to various Republican campaigns for the next ten years or so Joe. Sorry.

I've gotten stuff from Santorum, and I have never contributed to him.

Having put myself on McCain's list in 08, I've been getting emails from Mitt and from Newt's PAC, along with stuff from the local schmoes.

But that's nothing compared to Viacom. I registered at the Daily Show website for some reason a few years back. No matter how many times I tell Snookie and Dora the Explorer to unsubscribe me, they won't leave me be.

I just got e-mails from Santorum and Obama.

My response to Santorum was:

Dear Senator Santorum,

If it is a choice between you and President Obama, I'm voting for President Obama.

Really? I told the Newt campaign:

"I'm sorry, but I've forwarded my response to your mailing to Ron Paul's campaign. I support candidates who have a chance to win."

Of course you did.  Once you sign up as political anything, you always get spammed.  Heck, I get emails from the Texas Democratic Party somehow.
