It's looking like Santorum is going to win Michigan, Washington and maybe Arizona... if so, Super Tuesday will be make or break for Romney. OTOH if Romney manages to hold on, we can expect the Republican bloodletting to continue all the way to the convention. So how do you predict Super Tuesday will turn out? I think:

Alaska- No recent polls... looking at 2008 results could go Romney, Paul or Santorum. Crapshoot.

Georgia- Gingrich or Santorum. Probably Santorum since the most recent poll has him quite close to Gingrich, and that poll was before Minnessota/Missouri/Colorado.

Idaho- Romney because of Mormons

Mass- Romney

North Dakota- Santorum

Ohio- Santorum

Oklahoma- Santorum

Tennessee- Santorum

Vermont- No recent polls... old ones show it as surprisingly far right. So tossup between Santorum and Romney.

Virginia- Romney

If Santorum is winning in GA - and is close in WY - he should win in Idaho.

AK - Santorum
ID - Santorum
ND - Santorum
OH - Santorum
OK - Santorum
TN - Santorum
VT - Romney
MA - Romney
VA - Romney.

Yes, it wouldn't surprise me if Newt Gingrich drops out after Super Tuesday (especially after losing his adopted state), and subsequently endorses Rick Santorum as the remaining anti-Romney candidate.

It is kind of early to make Super Tuesday predictions considering Michigan, Arizona and Washington, not to mention the last pre-Super Tuesday debate, have yet to play out...

Well, he's running 20 points weaker this year from 4 years ago.

He won Wyoming with 57 percent. Do you really think he'd push 60+ in Idaho? No.

Wyoming is not a democratic process; it's a series of county conventions, whose participants were chosen at least a year ago.  Unless the Paul people were able to stack it, I imagine it's Romney country.

As noted by others, it's too early to make even remotely definitive calls without the last debate and MI & AZ voting (I don't think WA matters too much) but I will say that Santorum won't win VT. He might even come in third place behind Romney and Paul.

If Rick wins Michigan, let the corrinarion begin. Romney will probably only win Massachusetts, Idaho and VA. Of course, I've said this before and the antiromneys keep imploding.
