Well that's part of the reason I go to the church I do in the first place.

Don't get me wrong, though. Since I don't know you at all I can't tell how serious you are with your faith, so I do not want to come across as judgmental. I merely gave you some input on what I think you could consider about your baptism. It is a great moment in one's life, and that's why I believe it's really important not to worry too much about minor things such as your clothing.

OK crazy thought that just popped into my head:

If I wear my Ampere shirt, will I be the first person in the history of the world baptized while wearing the shirt of an emoviolence band?

Why would you want to do that in the first place?

Whenever I go to church I just put on the first T-shirt I grab out of my clean laundry basket. That could easily be this one, and I think I might now deliberately make it as such so I can acheive the above possibly historic feat.

I don't even know what to say... what would that accomplish?

Just sort of a noteworthy thing.

Also Ampere are avowed atheists so it'd be "ironic".

If you're going for irony, that's ok, but it isn't really noteworthy...

Hold my head under water
Take a breath for the Father.
Learn to love. Lessons repeating.
The Chronicles are so misleading.

This is your baptism
and you can't forgive 'em.

No the noteworthy thing is the possibility of this being the first time in the history of Christianity that someone was baptized wearing an emoviolence band's shirt. Though I have heard of someone who was baptized at an after show party by someone in a Christian hardcore band while she was slightly intoxicated.

So this is what BRTD's friends do when they're drunk... they start baptizing each other! Tongue

This isn't all that reliable, I read it on a message board reported as something the guy says a friend says his friend's ex had happen to her during some weird born again phase...but it's really not inconceivable.

So at least one of my aunts is going and she promised to tape most of it because my mom wants to see, who on my last call was talking about how she regrets she couldn't come...people have been quite a bit excited and accepting than I thought.

I was just joking about that. I don't even own a My Little Pony shirt. Though I am getting one soon as part of a promotion at my job since our team is now My Little Pony-themed.
