We had the ambulance take her into the ER today because she has been fighting a nasty virus.  She hasn't been able to keep food down and is very weak because of it.  We brought her in last Friday for tests and to be hydrated, hoping she would improve over the weekend.  She hasn't and we're afraid it could develop into pneumonia, hence her going in today.

Her blood pressure was 90/50 and her blood oxygen saturation level at 93%, which is low (though not alarmingly so).

My mom has poor health due to a huge number of factors and hospital visits are not at all uncommon... but we had gone a full year without any trips to the ER, the longest stretch in probably 8 or 9 years.  So please keep her in your thoughts for a speedy and full recovery.
