I have a feeling sending that link would backfire spectacularly.

I hope Sarah Marie points and laughs at the cameras next Tuesday night. She'll have her revenge.

a la:

?

Oh, and I wonder if his wife wears pants.

As in "Up yours" for making a crying little girl a punching bag even after her father had been soundly defeated.

I know; making fun of her at that time is just wrong. Why kick someone while they're crying that they'd have to spend more than 1 month per year in Pennsylvania?

Much as I loathe Santorum's politics, we shouldn't be making fun of his family. It's just cruel.

And anyway, I'm hoping he does win next Tuesday: President Obama will beat a Bush-era Republican much more easily than a Teabagger.

I think more people have gotten classier over the years. Making fun of a crying little girl does make some people feel like real men on the Internets though.

Bush's approval rating are in the mid 40s and tying Bush around someone's neck in 2012 won't be half as effective as it was in 2008.

Even if Santorum wins Iowa, and then goes on to somehow win South Carolina and Florida, Mitt Romney is going to destroy him in February. Plus can you image the Paul-Romney-Santorum debates? It'll just be an hour of Paul and Santorum yelling at each other and Romney smiling in the corner.

He can't win South Carolina. He has almost no groundwork there. He focussed on Iowa (for the right reasons) but he'll fail faster than Huckabee because Iowa is his base, and he's polling at zero outside of it.

All joking aside, let's assume Santorum wins Iowa. Notice how Romney is not attacking him? Santorum is an insider but a passionate, no-apologies conservative. He very well could suck in the social conservative vote in Iowa and win and try his best in New Hampshire, If Santorum came in second in New Hampshire due to a partial Paul-Gingrich-Bachmann-Perry collapse, imagine what could happen in South Carolina? Romney's campaign is praying for this as it would essentially be a protracted campaign but one where it's perpetual 1st place for Romney and perpetual 2nd place for Santorum.

We know he's unelectable, that he has a protectionist voting and legislative record, that he opposed even the voluntary use of E-Verify, that he was big on earmarks. But if you mean anything ethical, I doubt it.

Protectionist? Big on earmarks? No and no.

He's not protectionist, but let's face it: Santorum even voted for the "Bridge to Nowhere," so he knows how to support pork.

For better or worse, Santorum's a Big Government Republican who falls under the "compassionate conservative" label. Some people like Big Government and some people do not. But I would bet against Republicans, even in Iowa, opting for the Big Government option this year.

Yes.

Santorum has run a stealth campaign.

His record is being exposed.

Just as Perry and Gingrich ran their campaigns aground, the word is getting out about Santorum's opposition to E-verify.

Actually, he does have somewhat of a campaign structure there and has been to the state more than most (if not, more than everyone else).

Please remember that he was polling "at zero" in Iowa not too long ago as well. Religious voters are flocking to him in Iowa. He should have a similar experience in South Carolina after he places in the top three in Iowa.

Didn't Santorum describe himself as a "big-government conservative" in his book?

If Santorum makes it to Super Tuesday, I'm at the point where he might be getting my vote.
