Tmth has been nominated to SoIA, and we have an act that demans that the Darths take a purely usel- er, symbolic vote on wether they approve of such an opinion. Debate like you've never debated before!

"Our Opinions Matter Dag'nabit Act"

Basically, do we approve of the selection of Tmth for SoIA?  I do.

One thing, does the bill limit the vote to legislature, or does include other government officials, or all citizens?

While you foks are at it, I suggest discussing his qualifications, so we can think of something to put in the opinion. Tongue

I think this is an important practice to keep on the books, on the off chance that the senate ever considers a candidate that, for whatever reason, is vehemently anti-southern.  I suggest we move this discussion to the House thread, so that we do not have to concurrent items to deal with.

The problem is that we are frequently considering issues in the Legislature thread. I think it's important that this function does not have to compete with normal bills for the use of our time, or else it really will be a waste of our time.

It's been attempted a few times. Suffice it to say, people are killjoys.

Hmm.  Alright, we will keep it in here.

Eh, if people want to do it. It's sort of late, though.
