The sample looks too friendly for Independents and Republicans.

But the topline number is similar to the SUSA poll 4 years ago:

Just found out that re-weighting to a more reasonable sample of 36D-29R-35I (average of 2004 and 2008 exit polls), doesn't change anything:

It's still 50-42 Obama.

And people are still thinking Gingrich is competitive. Romney keeping Obama below 50% in Washington state should make Democrats nervous.

Gingrich would destroy McKenna's candidacy and give Inslee a boost as the Republicans are increasingly represented by divisive and sleazy ideologues (Cain was much the same in this regard).

Thank god we are nominating Gingrich so we won't have to worry about a competitive election.
