Living abroad tends, I think, to make anyone more pro-Bush.  Foreigners tend to condemn him in the most unreasonable and prejudiced way, and it tends to make him look good to any American living abroad.  The vote-to-piss-off the foreigners demographic!

opebo, very true and very profound.  I'll vouch for that too.  But understand that goes both ways.  I have also been in various countries in my life at the moment when their elections were being held, and in some cases it was no secret which candidate our government supported.  That alone was enough to swing many voters the other way.  Understandibly so, I think.  Touché.  Sans doute.
