I assumed it wasn't right to place this in the other section, where it seems politics are kept out of *newbie*.

Well, tomorrow there's a voter registration drive on campus.  I have an out of county address, so I can't register people, but instead I managed to help anyway... by agreeing to dress up as Uncle Sam and parade around gathering attention.  I have no idea what I'm going to do, exactly, but I plan on losing my voice over the course of my two hour shift Smiley
