Don't act like an idiot, Wormy. You are many things, but not an idiot. Don't pull yourself down like that.

The only idiot is Biden, though even he is bright enough to see the problem.

Biden:

"I'm sure there is a lot of mistakes that we've made."

I doubt if can count that high.

And if Biden said any thing else he would be attacked for deflecting blame. It doesn't matter.

It's true what he says, but it still doesn't change what the root of the economic trouble is, which is past policy. The administration doesn't need to point out what people already know.

The economy is beyond the control of Obama, or any Republican who might be elected in 2012. The economy will recover on it's own sweet time. Though I guess you don't have the capacity to understand this.

Anyways following your logic, Bush is who caused the recession. It happened under his watch so obviously it's his fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

The response to the economic program is under the control of Obama.

He didn't say "it's Obama's fault"... he said "it is what it is.  Bush's fault or whomever... Obama is now the guy who has to fix it."

Pointing the fingers at Bush is fun until you finally realize it doesn't actually fix the problem.

The response to the economic program is under the control of Obama.

The government doesn't have as much power over the economy as you think. How can Obama get people to spend more if their house is underwater and they fear they may lose their jobs? Not to mention the drastic cuts in government spending at the state and local level which is slowing down the economy further by cutting jobs. The last one is definitely the Republican's fault, no? The first two are just products of a free economy. You want a command economy, then go somewhere else.
