Mad Men draws like 2 million people per premiere. Let's say another 1 million watch it online. That's 3 million people, or slightly less than 1% of the US population. Something like 43% of Americans are "loyal NFL fans," which amounts to like 132,000,000 people. Clearly, mathematical extrapolation indicates that 40% of NFL fans are also Mad Men fans.

Those threads shouldn't exist as well.

You're giving Don Draper a bad name, and that's saying a lot.

These threads are horrible because the list is so long and requires so much thought that nobody reads any other post other than their own.   Perhaps create one topic for each, but only one topic once a month so we aren't tired of them.

Wouldn't make scenes since this kind of topic wouldn't be that much fun every month. I see all of your points but I would like to focus back on the topic instead of discussing this.

Turns out it's not that much fun at all.

"HEY WHAT PERCENTAGE OF SQUIRREL NUT ZIPPER FANS WATCHED THE ROSIE O'DONNELL SHOW AND VOTED FOR H.CARL MCCALL FOR NY GOVERNOR?"

Who cares?

It's fun to think about. It's a special occasion type of thread.

My thoughts. NFL is so mainstream that you'll find fans in many different circles.

Wow, some of those results were higher then mine(Harold and Kumar), others results were lower (Stephen King). At least you actually take your thoughts on the question.
