So at the pub trivia night I was just at, one of the questions was "These two British composers are best known for The Mikado and The Pirates of Penzance.". I can't remember laughing that hard at a question before.  Have you ever gotten a question that was designed for you before?  Examples would be BRTD getting emo questions or Hashemite getting questions about Brazilian politics.

Got a question about which suburb of Canberra the ANU was in once at a trivia night in Melbourne. I lived on campus at ANU for 1 and a half years. Anyway, they gave the wrong answer and I fought it and won.

At a quiz bowl tournament my freshman year of high school, the opposing team got a question about East Timor, which they proceeded to fail at while I was exploding with resentment.

At a quiz bowl tournament my senior year of high school, my team got a bonus about people born on August 16.  I was born on August 16.

In college, I once got a question about the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis about two sentences into the question (there are usually about 6 or 7) based off the knowledge I had gotten from the works of Steven Pinker.  The next two words in the question were apparently "Steven Pinker".
