If I get really into a timeline, I know they can be good, so I'm looking for a few ideas to get me motivated...

I was thinking of picking off where my Cuban Missile Crisis Timeline left off, like a continuation of the world starting over post Armageddon (spoiler)...

or picking someone out of history who historically never ran, and going from there....who is the question...

I was thinking the latter of the two..for example, William Weld in 1996, or something like that.

Post-apocalypse US would be awesome, especially with the ending that seemed to indicate McNamara was the traitor. As for people who never ran, hmmm...  William Weld would be interesting though I personally would have him as a one-termer if he won. However, I'm looking more into the forties for a person. Hey, maybe Everett Dirksen as President in the sixties? That'd be cool.
