One of the many things I really miss about Prague is how you can pre-game on your way to a club, just drinking wine out of a box while you're on the metro or walking down the sidewalk.
I really miss wandering around in European cities and talking to people late at night. You just don't really experience that here. Not enough late night street food, is probably the reason.

Sounds like New Orleans to me Tongue This city honestly does feel more "European" than anywhere else I've ever been in the US, in many ways.

Oh, and:

Hey, in college I used to write checks for my cannabis to my "providers." It was all very civilized. Smiley

no.  i always stuck with the booze.  drugs seemed like to much effort to acquire.

Really?  Probably has to do with your lack of effort to find one, because anyone who talked to a few friends got get in touch with someone who can get them something.

Though, not in a long time.

No actually, unless a provider of alcohol to underage students counts.

You should understand that, in Scotland, Nunavut and comparable far-northern dark climes, drinking alcohol is not "recreational". It's a full-time professional pursuit.

Nope, I don't know any dealers and I never had the need to resort to them.

This is assuming that buying over the counter in an Amsterdam coffee-shop does not count. Tongue

It sounds like you don't have to sit on a grimy couch while deadbeats center around a ceramic bowl as one of several dogs climbs on your lap and the people around you discuss sports cars and/or video games, so no, it wouldn't count.

Yes, though I've never interacted with the stereotypical Vanilla Ice of Pushers or Young Scarface drug dealers that are always in the commercials and movies.  It was mostly white trash who worked similar minimum wage jobs as high school kids.  Not very threatening or interesting people.

Is that a description of buying drugs from a dealer or taking drugs previously bought from a dealer?

I worked for a bank in the stock research department for a summer in Amsterdam while in business school. The town had all the amenities that I was looking for. Smiley

Oddly enough on Friday night I was at a house warming only to met with a wall of smoke. I may have had a contact high that night but I also felt sick.

Pretty much the same at mine.

Never purchased drugs from a dealer, however got beer from a dealer in college and have been in the room when others have bought from a dealer

Not in the American sense.  I remember one op in Iran in the late 1950's where I smoked hash with some contacts to put them at easy.  I couldn't stand the stuff; I have never particularly enjoyed any smokable drug.  Now a days, the only "drug" I indulge myself in is a glass or two of wine.

+1

Dealers are the worst and I try to avoid them at all costs if I can.
