Total spending by the US Government, at least a laid out in Obama's 10 year budget, will be +/- 52 Trillion over 10 years.

Some feel that cutting about 4% of this is not a solution adequate to the task at hand.

In Bachmann's case, it was, inter alia, because it did not contain a repeal of Obamacare.  Do you have a problem with that?  Tongue

Paul said he voted no because it does not affect military spending, social security, or medicare, which exceed the government's total intake through taxation.
