I have decided to follow the example of such fine Atlasians as StatesRights and TexasGurl by organizing my gubernatorial campaign into a one-man political party.

The 'Not-Brick' party takes its name from a quote in We The Living , spoken by a Soviet official: "What's a Citizen? Only a brick and of no use unless cemented to other bricks just like it." (Rand 49). The idea of the name is this: people are not like 'bricks', but people. Individuals should be allowed to decide for themselves on most issues, not bound into groups and made into walls.

There won't be a formal party platform unless the party grows to 3 members or more. For now, the platform is thus:

1. Get 'Not-Brick' party members (right now consisting of DanielX) elected.
2. Advocate for fiscal responsibility and social liberty.
3. Use any means necessary to stop those who would treat humans as bricks.

Well I love the source, but honestly, it's a bad name for a party.

Well, and are  'Radical Feminist Biatch', 'Coca-Cola', 'Jesus Christ', etc. good names for parties?

I originally wanted 'Atlasian Conservative Party', but that's not a good name for a one-man party.

One bad name, or three, doesnt deserve another.

Right...if that were indeed true, then nobody would go to heaven, because there are at least two religions in the world that say that you must believe in so and so to go to heaven, or whatever that religion calls it, and people usually don't have multiple religions, so we're all going to hell.
