  5% Santorum
  3% Huntsman
  2% Cain
  2% Giuliani
  2% Pawlenty
  2% Perry
  0% Johnson
  0% Roemer
  2% Others

Bachmann leads Romney 25% to 17% among registered Republicans. Bachmann leads Romney 25% to 17% among those saying they will definitely participate in the 2012 Republican caucus. And Bachmann leads Romney 30% to 7% among those saying they are supporters of the Tea Party.

Ron Paul leads Romney 24% to 23% among no party (independent) voters, with Sarah Palin at 15% and Bachmann at 2%. Paul leads Romney 22% to 20% among probable caucus goers, with Bachmann at 14% and Palin at 12%.

Romney leads Bachmann 31% to 11% among likely caucus goers saying they are not Tea Party supporters or are undecided about the Tea Party.

In April, support for Bachmann was at 9% and support for Romney was at 17%.

About this Survey

Survey Sponsor: American Research Group, Inc.

The American Research Group has been conducting surveys of voters since 1985.

Sample Size: 600 completed telephone interviews among a random sample of likely Republican caucus goers living in Iowa (505 Republicans and 95 no party (independent) voters).

Sample Dates: July 5-11, 2011

Margin of Error: ± 4 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.

I get that some of these are pretty suspect but it's still funny to see it.  At least he's not in MOE land.

Paul got 9% in Iowa in 2008.  He's a high floor, low ceiling candidate.
