There are a lot of books about the market meltdown and investment house catastrophes in 2008, but not many about how the United States as a whole has been impacted by the recession. I'm talking about a more man in the street type account, not the dry theoretical accounts. Busted is pretty good, but its more about how bad housing choices impacted people, not about the overall economy. Would love to hear about any books people have found interesting.
