Can somebody create a national map with the new CD boundaries filled in for the states that have already approved them? I know some states are ready to go, and some states are not. I'd like to get as much of the big picture as possible in one place. Thanks very much.

Here's the one I've been gradually filling in. Also has 2008 presidential results where available.

I think some other folks on this board have been making their own, so they might help you too.

There's a collaborative effort on the Demographics board that only has 12 states left, and I think they're mostly just the states that haven't finalized their new maps yet.

It seems like one of the most impressive and efficient gerrymanders I've seen to date. 3 Obama districts out of 13 in a state which voted for Obama. Impressive job.

Yeah, it's disgusting but it's difficult to get all that more outraged than normal, given who the victims are...

The McCain districts are all remarkably consistent.

Perdue also won statewide by 3 points but only carried 5 of districts (1,3,4,7,12).

Dole lost by 9 points but carried 10 districts!

Okay, that will end up as a court-drawn map.

NC was a Democratic gerrymander beforehand, in which Democrats retained a majority of seats in 2010(!)

Almost certainly not, actually. It pretty much satisfies all the formal requirements. I suppose it's possible that there'll be some court amendation of some boundary somewhere, but don't get your hopes up.Not to mention, your collective effort has been predictably ninja'd by the master mapper, Shilly. Though I've seen some of those presidential results he's missing, and I don't think Arizona is "final" yet.

Anybody have a detailed map of the new TN-9, preferably with either street boundaries or precincts included? I want to know whether I'm in or out, and I can't tell from just the county view. I may vomit if I have to be represented by Fincher.
