2/3? Nope. We don't need our hands tied during a crisis.
If more than 1/3 of Atlasia doesn't believe we're facing a crisis... then I don't think it warrants extreme action.

We must always be cautious when it comes to entering war. Governments in the past always used opportunities during wartime to expand the role of government at home and they tend to be rather unwilling to give up their newfound power. That is why I cannot support the conscription amendment to this bill. We should follow President  tmthforu94 recommendation to let this be handled by the regional governments.

When the passage of a bill depends to Rowan's vote, it's a very bad sign...

I encourage the Senate to do its job and defeat this dangerous Amendment.

Our job is to defend and protect the constitution of Atlasia and pass laws that provide for the safety and wellbeing of Atlasians.  Sometimes that includes amending the constitution.

We hardly need the Secretary of War defining our job for us... most certainly not on the issue of war.  War should never be up to a president and his friendly appointees... but to subject to the approval of a super majority of those elected by the Atlasian people to represent them.

Excellently put, my esteemed colleague!

After carefully reading the current language, I have decided to vote Aye on the underlying Constitutional Amendment.

I'll wait for him before I made a decision whether to send this to the regions or not.
