The Northeast hasn't had a leftist Governor since 2008 according to the Wiki so...let's be honest about this race.

Let's break this race down.  The left has recently had several members join this region, who will eligible to vote for snowstalker.  FallenMorgan is also running, creating division.  The RPP has very few active citizens to vote for anyone.  I would place snowstalker as the favorite certainly, but I wouldn't say Andrew doesn't have a chance.

Didn't the JCP win the last three special elections, including mine?  That's quite an indication of change.

Enough taking over snowstalker's thread though.  I'm looking forward to the candidates platforms in the coming days.

I don't know that. I know I had to work my ass off to get elected and walk a tightrope in the Senate to keep my approvals up...I think it will be a close and exciting race but I know better than to underestimate the right in this region.

Four actually but our candidates were fairly obviously stronger than the opposition so that helped. The right has a more credible candidate than they did in those races, though Snowstalker is fairly strong himself which is why I expect a close race. It is just what the region needs.

Yep, to the extent that elections between two decent candidates end up split almost exactly down the middle. The final margin in the epic Marokai-Napoleon matchup was, IIRC, a single vote, which is hilarious.

Some potentially good news for the Snowstalker campaign: this far into the election, Kalwejt holds a 16-7 lead among the region's voters by my hopefully count.
