Quite so. Wink All the more that the "aye" States are among the most "librul" IRL and the "nay" States the most conservatives... Tongue

IRL politics don't really apply to Atlasia. Notice how, in Atlasia, New England is very right-wing whereas the Great Plains are the most left-wing part of the country. Tongue

Correct, and updated. El Enmienda de Muerte seems to be safely dead, for now at least.

Remember though that the Northeast was traditionally as leftist as the Pacific, until Hamilton moved his zombies in to take it over.

The Mideast was also hyper-partisan left for a while. The IDS is really the only region without any significant tradition of left-wing strength, but even then we did have Xahar as our Governor once. Wink

Not really, it was rather a swing region and DA (previously NLC) stronghold.

You're not thinking far back enough.  It was quite left-wing at first, while the Midwest was a swing region.  The "Confederate" region has indeed always been one of the most conservative, if not the most conservative.

Death penalty arguments usually don't. In that respect, the issue's almost as bad as abortion. Tongue

True.  People tend to go into those arguments with their minds made up.
