Lean FF. His contributions in fighting neocolonialism, like nationalization of the Suez Canal, were great. Nasser also contributed more than anyone in forging modern Arab identity.

Had his failures and flaws, of course.

Definitely a HP overall, though it's not hard to see why many admire him.

Definitely.

As for this poll, "Neutral".  I am too damn high to give a logical analysis of the character, strength, dexterity, sexuality, gender, socioeconomic status, demographic, and health condition of the inhabitants of Gamal Abdel Nasser.

I am also going to have to say "Neutral." He did a lot of bad in his time, but he's miles ahead of other "freedom fighters" like Fidel Castro and Che.

Objectively a horrible person. A freedom fighter as well? Hmm... that depends on where you're standing from.

Why do you need an explanation?
right-wingers: FFs!
all others: HPs!

Unsurprising that Kalwejt and Hashemite would like Nasser.

'cept that I didn't actually post my opinion on Nasser. I was commenting on officepark's bullet voting.

Nasser also contributed more than anyone in forging modern Arab identity.

Of course, one could question if that was a good thing.

FF for helping to fight imperialism in Africa and the Middle East. Nationalising the Suez Canal, an attempt at uniting the Arabs (of course it would've politically been dominated by Egypt but hey, it's politics.) Of course he's not perfect, no one is.
