Er... well that's a slightly less embarrassing percentage for evolution in Britain than in some other recent-ish surveys. At least it's a majority...

Hmm... contemporary American creationism is extremely modern in almost all respects. That's part of the problem.

Why has no one commented about the absolutely horrid description of evolutionism?!  Humans didn't "evolve from apes"!  That's idiotic.  Humans and apes both evolved from proto-primates, which weren't "lower", because "lower" animals don't exist.  (Less cognitively complex, sure, but not "lower"; that's like saying one dialect of a language is "better" than another.)
