It would only work with Preferential Voting. Otherwise the right would win, since the UL/AFDNC split.

The Candidates

UL-Howard Dean/Russ Feingold or Kucinich
AFDNC-Dick Gephardt/John Kerry
AFIP(?)-Evan Bayh/John Edwards
UAC-John Breaux/Rudy Guiliani
AFRNC-George W Bush/ Dick Cheney
AFLP-Michael Badnarik/Rich Champagna

If the AFIP ran they would be tough, if not Breaux would take it.

The AFIP is dead. It has no more members and is officially a dead party.

UL - Dennis Kucinich/David Cobb
AFDNC - John Kerry/Hillary Clinton
UAC - John McCain/John Breaux
CU - Lamar Alexander/Johnny Isakson
SRP - Zell Miller/Haley Barbour
AFRNC - Pat Toomey/Tom Coburn
AFLP - Ron Paul/Gary Johnson

The RF Party would Endorse the Toomey/Coburn ticket Smiley

He is.

He is also a prgamatist who knew full well if he tried to govern like that he would never get anything done.

He is a rarity, an idealist and a realist at the same time.

Something like this, maybe: Red is Democrat, Blue Republican and Green UAC. The Southern Republican states would be SRP and DC, MA, VT, RI, I could imagine being UL rather than Dem.
