Instead of taking strong handed measures like abolishing birthright citizenship why don't we just liberalize the immigration process?  Like you know make legal immigration easier perhaps?
Seriously, ask yourselves why millions of people have felt the need to illegally immigrate to this country.

Granted, I have zero experience in becoming a US citizen.  But there's got to be more than "oh they just want free jobs and money" reasoning for why this is such a problem.

Seriously, ask yourselves why millions of people have felt the need to illegally immigrate to this country.

Exactly. If we did that it would improve foreign relations as well. But we must have measures to protect people from human traffickers.

Seriously, ask yourselves why millions of people have felt the need to illegally immigrate to this country.

If I were to ever hear an answer to this question it would ease my suspicions that this is an entirely racial issue.

The strongest protection against human trafickers would be provided by expanded access to legal migration. If one could simply show up in a US consulate and apply for a visa, it would kill their business Smiley)
