Are there any potential primary challengers to Sen. Gillibrand (D-NY)?
Any potential GOP challengers?

With the work she did on the 9/11 health compensation funding and the DADT repeal among other things she is safer than safe.  I was one of the early skeptics when she was first appointed to the seat.

I wanted Steve Israel and was concerned she wasn't liberal enough.  However, I have been quite impressed and I don't see any Democrat challenging her in 2012 (outside of perhaps a minor challenge), and no Republican has a chance to knock her off.

Doubtful. If there was any chance of her being vulnerable, it would've been 2010. And it turns out she wasn't.

Well, according to Siena, she's trailing Dan Senor by 4%. I suspect it's a massive joke poll.

She is safe. Unless she somehow becomes very unpopular downstate I don't see her losing. It is kinda ironic that she has been accepted so easily as a liberal when in the House she was pretty conservative in terms of the Democratic caucus.

I wanted Steve Israel as well. Now he is stuck in the House for life.

Completely safe barring a huge scandal of some kind. Even then, she might be safe.

I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to being a 24 year old boy toy in such a scandal. She wouldn't even get in as much trouble over that. lol.

Not sure, I think "female Senator caught cheating on husband" would be a nastily damaging story. Society is still pretty into the double standard.
