I didn't know where to stick a thread like this, but what would you say the closest races have been that you know of or have seen?
I guess it could be at any level, with the exception of local because I feel local races probably see things like this a lot more.

My personal experience,
I'm a poll-worker for the town of Charlton here in Massachusetts, and I've always feared of having an extremely ridiculously close race because such a race means all eyes on me, haha
This Tuesday night however ended with that becoming a reality, as incumbent Democrat, Geraldo Alicea was narrowly defeated by his challenger, Republican Peter Durant.
The relevance of this being that Alicea lost by a margin of 2 votes.
(6,583 to 6,581)
A recount is currently pending.

so what experiences have you seen, or what races do you know that are alike the above-mentioned?
