He's not in a position to give Republicans a majority....as Democrats held too many seats. Make sense? This makes him irrelevant.

The Senate is going to be 53-47, Lieberman moves to the GOP its 52-48, that doesn't accomplish anything, and actually gives him less power.

what kind of deadlock are you talking about? he'd have to join a dozen other Democrats to stop a filibuster in favor of the Republicans.
