Just a few years ago, the notion of Univision catching and surpassing them would have had mainstream network executives rolling with laughter. They're not laughing now.

That will probably change once they actually start getting some competition in the Spanish-Language market.  Also, the number of native Spanish-speaking Americans is actually decreasing, given that natural births has taken over from immigration as the main driving force behind the increase in Hispanics in this country.

Not that i mind it getting a higher profile though.  Their stuff is actually pretty good.
