Smith/Smith. Anti-Catholic sentiment would have played a role, but not as great as in 1928. He would have won, but by a smaller margin than FDR:

Um, Smith would definately win New York. There's no way he could've lost it in 1932. And how would he lose MA when he won it in 1928?

As I said, Smith would likely do better in the Northeast and worse in the South and West--which I didn't put on these maps (they're based on a uniform swing).

if they're based on a uniform swing, he would've definatley won NY which he lost by only about 2 points, and MA, which he won the firs ttime.
