Likely voters:

Toomey: 45%
Sestak: 42%

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2010/09/30/new-poll-indicates-sestak-within-reach-of-toomey/

Not sure what to make of this poll. Sestak is actually leading by double digits among independents in it.

And someone (not you, E) was bashing J.J. the other day when he said Toomey's lead would be slipping away.

I'm more surprised by the fact that JJ even said that.

Would prefer a Rass or a PPP to confirm this...

Well, this is Susquehanna, which doesn't exactly have a great track record (though they were better this year).

I'd be a bit concerned with PPP, especially with some their polls as of late, if they were to show a large Toomey lead.

There is a record of resurging Democratic candidates at the end (even losing ones) in Pennsylvania.

But we're not really near "the end" yet, are we?

They said if there was a wave it will show up in the polling post Labor day and all of the Dems except Reid are down by double digits.

This is actually not surprising. Toomey hasn't really lost any support, its mostly been a gain for Sestak if this poll is correct. What we need to see, is if its sustained and Sestak continues to rise or does he rise to the low 40's and gets stuck there. While I wouldn't rule a narrow Sestak win out, I still think that Toomey will win by 3-6 points.

Added this to the database, lulzing the whole way.

Nevermind, it's already in there.  Smiley

Well many (four or five polls have come out) and they confirm that this is garbage.
