Republicans definitely get slaughtered up North. They lose TN and GA by close margins.

I tend to disagree.  I think that Gore would lose his appeal amongst Southenors and other "Rust Belt" type voters after the whole Global Warming thing.

I would say probably not, due to the fact that Obama is on the Democratic ticket.
