Whose nomination chances are increased?

I'd imagine Ron Paul and/or Gary Johnson would do better - although they probably would have no chance of nomination. I'd imagine it would help Palin and DeMint (if he runs). Would it help Huckabee? He's been accused of being a RINO by a lot of Tea Party types due to his unsteady fiscal conservative credentials. What about Gingrich? He's certainly quite conservative, although he's practically the definition of "establishment."

If that happened, it would probably entice more Tea Party-approved candidates to run- Palin, Paul, Perry Pence.  I'd say Paul or Johnson would benefit most but their foreign policy is dealbreaker in a GOP presidential primary, so probably Palin or a dark horse.  Maybe Pence.  I do think Romney's chances go down though.  The caveat is if Rubio ends up a GOP hero and endorses Romney to return the favor.  I don't think he'd do it if Palin or Huckabee were in it but otherwise maybe.

All those candidates are from the Sarah Palin wing of the party, so her nomination chances increase somewhat.
