Me and Kalwejt have decided to form a think tank for left-wing ideas in Atlasia. We support the following

1. A more egalitarian society
2. A role for the government in the economy
3. Equality on grounds of race, gender, sexuality etc.
4. A strong social welfare state
5. Protection for trade unions/workers

If you agree with all of the above, we welcome you Smiley So basically, social liberals, social democrats, socialists, communists, anarchists, syndicalists and so on are all welcome Smiley

3. Equality on grounds of race, gender, sexuality etc. : Affirmative action to the point of racism
4. A strong social welfare state : Paid for existing
5. Protection for trade unions/workers : Allowing greedy unions to cause jobs to be so expensive nobody can afford them.

I agree. I'm not especially "left-wing" economically - although I'm sure the Populares etc would disagree - but I do think that the welfare state is the most humane system we have.
