What I meant was that, in addition to gross incompetence, concealing a debt of this magnitude will give the RNC people more reason to give him the boot.  Steele's biggest problem, however, is that he doesn't really understand the role of a party chairman.  Even after all this time, he still thinks that he's the "face" of the Republican Party.
