Following the trend of other candidates who supported Barack Obama, Arlen Specter has become the 4th politician backed by Obama who has been voted out of office in the past 6 months. Specter starts a new trend though too. He is the first healthcare bill supporter to be kicked out the door. I hope your vote was worth it Arlen and good job referring to your Democrats in the audience as Republicans. Have a nice retirement and don't forget to change parties on your way out.

I hope he does have a nice retirement.  He's certainly earned it.  Arlen Specter is a good man.

Anyways, Arlen Specter didn't get voted out because he supported healthcare...Sestak also supported healthcare.

I would call you an idiot and tell you to go DIAF, but it kind of goes without saying now.

It's also worth noting how tepid Obama's (and all the Democratic establishment's) support was for Specter. It was more payback for his party-switch than anything else.
