He's a Republican, he just happens to not be a lunatic. He's very reasonable and enjoys a good discussion on the merits of policies, even if I don't always agree.

He's not a Republican, he doesn't even support him republicans, and if he were a Republican and one that supported Republicans you would be saying he is a lunatic so you're opinion doesn't hold any merit. Torie is no more a Republican than Zell Miller is a Democrat- maybe less so.

And you aren't a Republican because you aren't an abolitionist.

And you aren't a Republican because you support policies that support the South.

Etc. ad infinitum.
