......I really have no other way of saying this, but in light of recent events (ie life) I have decided that perhaps I should take a break from the Atlas. To those of you who I really got to know thanks for the times, for those of you who hate my guts go screw yourselves.
I might show up to do What-Ifs, but besides that I'm through with this forum (for now at least).

If I come back this evening or tomorrow or even a week from now (minus what-if board), you all have "I told you so" rights.

I will miss you a lot.  You're funny as hell and you have a nice guy streak a mile long.  We don't agree on much beside our disdain for religious moral f****try but it doesn't matter.  You're aces in my book.

Mech, you've got to take control of your posting time. It's shocking to me that in eight months of being on the Atlas, you've racked up nearly 50 days' time online. I know, I know -- sometimes that's leaving the browser open while you're doing other things, but 50 days ... c'mon, man, that's NOT healthy. You've more than doubled the amount of time I've spent here, and I've been registered for five-and-a-half years.

Granted, this is a pretty harmless addiction, but you're no doubt missing out on other things. Forget two hours -- limit yourself to 30 minutes a day. You're going to miss out on things people say, and you're not going to be able to respond to everything or participate in every discussion. But the alternative is, well, what you've been doing -- spending WAY too much time here.

I love the Atlas, but trust me, man -- it's not worthy of an obsession.
