I believe that all Americans deserve health care coverage, but I am opposed to the health care legislation that is under consideration in Congress and will vote against it. It will raise taxes, increase government spending and lower the quality of care, especially for elders on Medicare.

so yeah no

I am beginning to think that this health care bill will not pass, and have to be substantially revised. I don't think enough Dems are really willing to end their careers walking the plank for this bill. Coakley indeed was unlucky that so much bad news came out about the health care bill, including cooked numbers, double counting, and now a bribe to labor unions - they don't have to pay a tax on their Cadillac plans, but everyone else does!  That's outrageous!
Apparently people in unions are just barely squeezing by and need that extra money more than non-union members who are all doing just fine.  And hey, it's only a $60billion pay out to the unions by our Fed Govt, that's a drop in the bucket compared to what they've given them bailing out the car companies the unions helped run into the ground.

I liked this thread of yours from the beginning, and I've been trying to keep the forum from becoming too crowded with new threads while the MA election is going on.

So this is what you get... Smiley

It wasn't deletable/questionable material, of course.

After the recent polling, I'm switching to Brown. But I'd be ready to die, either way.
Whew, good thing I changed. Wink
