Teddy, I'm sorry, but it is definitely not up to the warner to make sure the warning gets through.

In fact, even giving a warning is a courtesy on part of the moderator team. In the real world, if you break the law you get punished. There is no "but I didn't know I would get punished" or "you didn't warn me I'd go to jail if I stole/murderered/raped/whatever"

These are all people who have been EXTREMELY trollish. Einzige, for example, has even been given this treatment before. I've warned Hamilton personally before and he didn't even respond.

Bottom line is, those people have been given plenty of warnings and even if they didn't it doesn't matter. You can't break all rules of civil behaviour and then come crying afterwards about getting warnings!

You also seem to think that this means some kind of Catch-22. It doesn't. The moderator naturally views every post he deletes. Thus, he will notice any improvement in behaviour. And, of course, some kind of acknowledgement of the behaviour is always good since it indicates intention to reform.

You seem to think that this is a witchhunt, but why would it be? I know a lot of people think MasterJedi is personally involved with some of those people, but I'm not. I didn't know paulisdabest existed until this week. I've never been targetted by the troll club the way some people have. And it is the same with Alcon and most of the other moderators. Yet, we all think these people are trolls.

The moderator community consists of a dozen people from all walks of life and political persuasions. Several actively dislike each other. If we agree that someone is banworthy it is unlikely that the person is not.
